I’m looking for a Scanning Specialist based in Sweden with hands-on experience in reality capture and point cloud processing to support our growing digital construction and BIM projects.
Role Overview
As a Scanning Specialist, you will be responsible for capturing site conditions using laser scanning technologies, processing the scanned data, and delivering high-quality point cloud outputs for downstream BIM and digital workflows.
Key Responsibilities
▪️ Perform laser scanning (terrestrial / mobile / drone-based, where applicable)
▪️ Process and register scanned data using industry-standard software
Quality-check and optimize point cloud data
▪️ Deliver accurate and well-structured point cloud datasets as final outputs
▪️ Collaborate with BIM and project teams to support design, coordination, and construction workflows
Required Experience & Skills
▪️ Proven experience in 3D laser scanning and point cloud processing
▪️ Hands-on experience with tools such as Leica Cyclone, Trimble RealWorks, Faro Scene, Recap, or similar
▪️ Strong understanding of accuracy, tolerances, and scan planning
▪️ Experience delivering point clouds for BIM, as-built, or digital twin use cases
▪️ Ability to work independently on-site and in data processing
🌍 Location
Sweden (candidates must be eligible to work in Sweden)
✨ Nice to Have
Experience working with BIM teams and Revit/Navisworks workflows
Knowledge of construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
Experience with drone scanning or photogrammetry
